Adventures from reading books captured within short reviews.

Lonesome Dove - Larry McMurtry This is a book read before my Goodread.com days. Thus I've not written a review. I was reminded on it because of the following review on my 2013 PageADay's Book Lover's Calendar:

This Pulitzer Prize–winning classic deserves a second look (or a first, if you’ve never had the pleasure). Truly a masterpiece of writing about the American West, the novel captures the full sweep of the motley crew of cowboys, crooks, prostitutes, settlers, and Indians who made the West their home. Grand, dramatic, and worthy of all praise.
